You will quickly come to realize that there are a multitude of guru’s who will “teach” you their secrets if you only join their membership site. All they ask in return is that you pay them hundreds a month, or a onetime fee of thousands. Most of them you’ve never even heard of!

With every launch you get bombarded with emails promoting the next big secret from gurus you’ve never heard of. You may have even bought on and it left you wondering what you were thinking when you made that decision.

The sales letter looked good and the emails promoting the product sounded good. You watched video after video promoting the technique. Only a hundred were left available and the list was huge so you had to buy now. The information ends up gathering digital dust forgotten on your hard drive somewhere.

Before you follow the next guru do yourself a favor and see how he makes his money. Check him out. The internet has a world of information.

Does he sells memberships or give live coaching seminars? Do you want to start a membership site or give coaching seminars? If not his experience probably won’t fit into your business model and isn’t for you. You just saved yourself a thousand dollars!

Don’t fall for the next guru offering to make you 5 million a month in sixty days; If he could use his discovery to do that, he would be doing it himself and certainly wouldn’t tell you about it!

The place you need to start is at the beginning, research, then more research. Get to know your niche and competition.

The biggest secret in marketing on the internet isn’t really that big of secret. Choose your marketing mentor wisely. Find someone who is an authority in his field and learn from them. Here is another little secret, if you are trying to get rich quick don’t bother you are just prey for the sharks.
